Dr. Anish Kirpalani
Dr. Kirpalani is a radiologist, medical educator, and healthcare entrepreneur with over 15 years of broad practice experience in both academic and private/community settings in Canada and the USA. He has been a staff radiologist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto since 2009, where he is also the Head of Abdominal Radiology, Chair of Medical Imaging Research at St. Michael’s, and Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto. In addition to maintaining a busy clinical practice, Anish has authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and has given over 40 invited lectures in radiology, focused mostly in MRI. Anish has a background in both engineering and medicine. He has made significant philanthropic contributions to educational, healthcare and South Asian music initiatives in Toronto. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two young children.
As the Head of Business & Operations, Chrome OS at Google, Mickey leads the Consumer go to market team that partners with Retailers and OEM’s on building the Chrome OS business in the United States. Prior to this role, Mickey was the Head of Strategy & Operations for Google Canada responsible for enabling and supporting the successful delivery of business plans, market initiatives and overall operational excellence for the digital ads business.
Before joining Google in 2015, Mickey was the Head of the Integrated Customer Experience Division and member of the Canadian leadership team at Apple Canada. Mickey has also held progressively senior roles at TELUS, as well as with Mars and Heinz across sales, strategic planning, channel marketing, operations and training.
Mickey is active in the community and serves on the Pancreatic Cancer Canada board of directors. PCC is a not for profit organization dedicated to improving pancreatic cancer survival. Mickey joined the board in 2017 and was elected to the role of Vice Chair in 2018.
Mickey is a Canadian citizen and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two young children. When he is not chasing his kids around, you can find Mickey trying to improve his golf game, experiencing new cuisines or planning the next exciting family vacation.
Mr. Paul is a Vice-President, Client Wealth Management at Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc., a member of the Firm’s Asset Mix team and a registered Portfolio Manager. Mr. Paul received an Honours Business Administration degree, with distinction, from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. He has also earned his Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. Prior to joining Gluskin Sheff in 2009, Mr. Paul was a Senior Associate with Deloitte & Touche, Corporate Finance Canada Inc. Mr. Paul is a member of the Toronto Hebrew Memorial Parks Investment Committee.
As President & CEO of BBDO in Canada, Chris is responsible for setting the strategic vision and growth of the business in the Canadian market, serving clients including Ford, RBC, PepsiCo, Sobeys and more.
He has experience that spans Canada, the US and Europe. Before joining BBDO he spent five years running The&Partnership’s operations in Toronto and Vancouver, which doubled in size during his tenure. Prior to that, he was based at Leo Burnett’s global headquarters in Chicago, where he served as Executive Vice-President, Global Account Head for Coca-Cola Brands, covering disciplines including brand advertising, digital, shopper marketing and activation in markets including the US, Western Europe, LATAM and Asia-Pacific. Before that, he spent a decade with TAXI in roles of increasing responsibility, from being part of the launch team of TAXI 2 to running the Amsterdam office, where he led operations and held pan-European client responsibility for businesses including Unilever and Heineken.
Chris has significant experience navigating complex client businesses with multiple senior stakeholders and thrives on helping his clients work within their organizations to drive desired results. He has a deep love of the balance of art and commerce and is a passionate believer in the power of creativity to drive business and better the world.
His spare time is spent with his wife, nurturing their 11-year-old daughter’s love of art, music and travel. And he may well be the only person running a Canadian agency to have had a record deal.
Michael is a Partner at Ernst & Young, Canada with responsibility for leading the ERP consulting business nationally. He has over 20 years of experience managing, designing, implementing and supporting complex process and technology solutions, providing senior executive oversight on some the largest transformation projects in North America.
Jason is a trial lawyer at Fillmore Riley LLP; a leading full-service law firm in Winnipeg. Jason obtained a Bachelor of Science in 2007, a Bachelor of Laws in 2010, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2011. In 2012 and 2013, Jason lived in Ottawa while working as a Law Clerk for the Honourable Justice Louis LeBel of the Supreme Court of Canada. Jason joined the Board of Pancreatic Cancer Canada in February 2019, shortly after he lost his mother to pancreatic cancer. In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his young family and is also an avid amateur golfer.
Marc St-Onge joined CIBC in 1998 and has held various progressively senior positions within CIBC Capital Markets. His current responsibilities as Managing Director and Global Head of DCM, includes the origination and syndication of investment grade, high yield and government fixed income products globally. Prior to his current role, Mr. St-Onge was Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking Canada, where he was responsible for CIBC Capital Markets’ Canadian corporate loan portfolio and oversaw the bank’s corporate lending activities in Canada for corporate, government and financial sponsor client base across all major industries. Mr. St-Onge has also worked in CIBC Capital Markets’ U.S. Investment Banking business, where he was responsible for the coverage of U.S. based private equity firms. Prior to joining CIBC Capital Markets, Mr. St-Onge worked for in the Commercial Real Estate Finance group of a major Canadian financial institution. Mr. St-Onge graduated from l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Montreal in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1998. Mr. St-Onge is a voting member of several key CIBC Capital Markets business committees including, Global Deals Committee and DCM Capital Commitment Committee. Mr. St-Onge chairs CIBC Capital Markets’ Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Committee. He also chairs the Shaw Festival Boxing Evening, a fundraising event for The Shaw Festival Theatre in Niagara-on-the-lake.
Vice President & General Manager of National Pharmacy for Sobeys Inc., Marie-Claude is accountable for the success and execution of the strategic plan for 428 pharmacies across the country. Sobeys Inc. is a $26 billion Grocery Retail Company serving the shopping needs of Canadians with approximately 1,500 locations across 10 provinces.
Marie-Claude is an operationally-focused leader, with management accountability experience for a wide array of portfolios including business P&L, technology-enabled process transformation, long term annuity partnerships with strategic vendors, project management, corporate governance, and risk oversight. In her previous role at Sobeys as Vice-President Strategy Execution, Marie-Claude led the PMO and Enterprise Risk Management Teams accountable for the delivery of all business and technology projects, along with the operationalization of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
With proven leadership in digital innovation, insights, mobility, identity management, and user experience, Marie-Claude has lead teams widely recognized as industry leaders in digital innovation and organizational change management.
Marie-Claude graduated with a Master’s in Administration (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry. She is a certified and practicing Six Sigma black belt and has a passion for talent development, career coaching and mentoring. In support of community and industry, Marie-Claude serves on the Board of Directors of the Neighborhood Pharmacy Association of Canada and the GS1 Canada Healthcare Pharmacy Board.
Hilen leads the TELUS Stores and Koodo Shops teams. In this role, he supports over 2,700 team members across Canada delivering technology solutions backed by an exceptional customer experience . Hilen and his team also proudly support TELUS’ commitment to Give Where We Live by actively volunteering and fundraising in the local community. The TELUS team is proud to support PCC with an annual fundraising drive in memory of a beloved colleague who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Hilen joined the Pancreatic Cancer Canada board in 2019.
In over 15 years at TELUS, Hilen has held various leadership roles at TELUS including positions in Business Intelligence, Product Development, Pricing and National Retail. Trained as an electrical engineer, Hilen worked as a management consultant supporting clients primarily in the communications sector prior to joining TELUS.
Hilen and his wife Karen have two wonderful children. In his spare time, Hilen enjoys spending time with his family.
