Corporate Partners
At Pancreatic Cancer Canada, strategic partners help fund innovative pancreatic cancer research and provide support to those living with the disease through our community programs, specialized services and resources.
Our partnership arrangements are designed to be mutually beneficial and drive the organization’s mission forward.
TELUS and Koodo, along with their nationwide dealer network, support Pancreatic Cancer Canada through their annual in-store fundraising and awareness campaign. Through the generosity of their customers, donations are collected and matched by TELUS, raising significant funds for research investment.
Pancreatic cancer remains an important cause within the TELUS family, after the passing of beloved executive Joe Goodbaum to the disease in 2016.
As one of Google’s charities of choice, PCC benefits from ‘Google Giving Week’, an employee-driven philanthropic fundraising initiative. PCC is the recipient of a Google ad grant designed to help enhance the organization’s brand presence online.
Our work with award-winning The&Partnership has helped elevate the Pancreatic Cancer Canada brand and our public presence while delivering some hard-hitting and bold messages about pancreatic cancer. The 2017 Assumptions Can Be Deadly campaign was provoking and eye-opening – calling people to action regarding the signs and symptoms of this cancer. In 2020 we launched Survival Not Sympathy which marked the next evolution of the PCC brand and continues to demonstrate our bold approach and commitment to raising the rate of survival.
Leave memories not condolences. Founded in 2021, Kinwood, the Celebration of Life Co. collaborates with families to honour lives through celebration of life events, films, and custom projects. Kinwood has provided PCC with film production services to help tell important stories from our community. For client families, Kinwood produces cinema-grade biographical films and modern celebration of life events. These custom film projects can preserve important family histories and can be a generational family heirloom.

Industry Partners
PCC exists to fight this aggressive, deadly form of cancer. To do this, we work with organizations and individuals that share our vision and can help advance our efforts. Included among these are pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as they play a pivotal role researching the next generation of treatments and manufacturing therapies currently approved for use in Canada. PCC works with these companies to:
- Accelerate promising research findings towards the development of new treatments
- Bring attention to the specific issues and needs of pancreatic cancer patients
- Leverage and deploy resources to improve the patient experience
- Increase public understanding of what it means to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
-
Advance federal and provincial government lobbying efforts to bring cancer care to the forefront of conversations around healthcare.
Funds received by PCC from pharmaceutical industry partners are done so as unrestricted educational grants and full transparency is paramount.
