Get the help you need from the people who understand
We understand that a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, either as a patient or as a loved one, can be emotionally overwhelming. Talking can help. Talking with someone who has been there before, can help ease those emotions. Talking with someone who is both comforting and non-judgemental, can make you, or your loved ones, feel less alone, and feel better.
Together with Wellspring, we offer a Peer Support Volunteer, free of charge, specially trained in providing support for any person diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, their family members or caregivers. You will meet privately either in person at a Wellspring Centre closest to you, over the telephone, or face-to-face via conferencing software. During the conversation, you will be invited to share your story, your circumstances and express the concerns and feelings you might have.
Pancreatic Cancer Peer Support Volunteers know what you are going through and they are here to help. They can also arrange for access to a counselor or to other supportive care programs that may be beneficial to you, given your particular needs, interests and location.
If you feel this type of support would be helpful to you, please complete the short contact form by clicking on the button below or by calling 1-877-499-9904, to quickly and efficiently schedule your appointment with a Pancreatic Cancer Peer Support Volunteer.
