Virtual Fundraising Challenge
With the colder weather upon us and the need to continue practicing physical distancing, we need to get a little creative when hosting fundraisers! At Pancreatic Cancer Canada, we’re hoping to work alongside you to create virtual fundraisers in a continued effort to spread awareness about the disease. Whether you decide to host a Zoom cooking lesson, drop baked goods off on doorsteps, or participate in Random Acts of Kindness, starting a virtual fundraiser is for you!
Joining the challenge is simple:
1. Choose your fundraiser of choice.
A distanced Bake Sale, Cross-country skiing for 10KM, or bike every day for a month on your indoor bike! Anything goes as long as you can complete it safely.
2. Pick a fundraising goal and set up your personal fundraising page.
Share with your networks why this challenge is important to you! We are here (virtually) to coach you along the way. We’ll share fundraising resources and best practices.
3. Complete your challenge.
Track your progress and share your stories with your friends and family. Make sure you share once you hit your goal and celebrate (virtually of course) with all your loved ones.
It doesn’t matter how big or small your challenge virtual fundraising goal is. The funds you raise are more important and impactful than ever. Your fundraising initiatives will ensure that PCC can continue the vital work we are doing to ensure Canadians living with pancreatic cancer feel supported during this particularly challenging and isolating time. Additional Fundraising Ideas

A few ideas include:
- Online gaming tournament or talent show
- Coffee Challenge
- Facetime double date night
- Online cooking classes
- Virtual girls’ night
Don’t forget to share your photos on social media and tag @PancreaticCancerCanada and use #TeamPCC so we can see how you are honouring your friends and family and share with others!
