For pancreatic cancer survival rates to improve, early detection and targeted treatment are essential. That’s why PCC proudly funds innovative research like the Prosper-PANC study.

This four-year project uses previously collected blood samples and groundbreaking whole genome sequencing (WGS) to explore new ways of understanding and detecting the disease. With over 500 samples and comprehensive genomic tumour data, researchers are exploring if WGS could be a game-changer for early detection.

To date, 42 patients have enrolled in the study, bringing us one step closer to a future where pancreatic cancer is a treatable and survivable cancer. Learn more about our research by clicking the link in our bio.

Both long-standing and recent-onset diabetes can increase one’s risk of developing pancreatic cancer. If you are diabetic and experiencing excessive thirst, hunger, and urination, we urge you to speak to your medical team and reference #pancreaticcancer.
