COMPETE FOR THE CURE

Update on Compete

Thank you for registering for Compete For The Cure™. Given what is happening in our community with COVID-19, we wanted to inform you that this year’s event will not be taking place as originally planned. We have made this difficult decision with your health and the well being of our community and fellow participants in mind.  We recognize that if we all do our part and make responsible choices that we will get through this challenging time together.

Even though the event will not be taking place as originally planned, we will be leaving your pages open so we can continue your fundraising. As an incentive to continue to collect donations, for every donation you receive between now and May 3rd, you will be entered into a draw to win one of two $100 Google Play gift cards. With your support, we can continue the vital work we are doing to ensure Canadians living with pancreatic cancer feel supported during this particularly challenging and isolating time

Compete for the Cure™ (CFTC), now in its 7th and final year, is a high school basketball and dodgeball tournament in support of pancreatic cancer research.

CFTC will be held on Sunday, May 3rd at HoopDome, located at 75 Carl Hall Road in Toronto. It features male basketball, male dodgeball, and female dodgeball tournament, as well as carnival games and food. Prizes are awarded to tournament winners and top fundraisers.

Grab your teammates, lace up your sneakers and don’t miss out!
